Our professional technicians specialize in SEER-rated system upgrades, precise refrigerant balancing, and inverter technology calibration, ensuring every installation delivers maximum efficiency, quiet operation, and lasting comfort for your home.
We begin each project with a detailed Manual J load calculation to determine the exact heating and cooling capacity your home needs. This ensures the heat pump we install is neither oversized nor undersized, delivering balanced comfort and energy efficiency all year.
Our expert technicians follow manufacturer and EPA installation standards. We mount the indoor and outdoor units securely, connect refrigerant lines, wire electrical components, and verify proper condensate drainage to guarantee safe, efficient, and long-lasting system operation.
When replacing outdated systems, Su’Coy removes old equipment safely, cleans the installation area, and sets up the new high-efficiency heat pump. We confirm proper duct connection, vacuum refrigerant lines, and run performance tests to ensure a smooth transition and improved efficiency.
Every installation includes a full electrical inspection. Our team checks voltage compatibility, circuit protection, grounding, and disconnect switches to ensure your new heat pump operates safely and meets local Washington, DC electrical and HVAC code standards.
We install programmable or smart thermostats that integrate directly with your heat pump. After wiring and calibration, we configure comfort schedules and app settings, allowing you to control temperature and humidity remotely for consistent comfort and energy savings.
Once installation is complete, we conduct system start-up tests. Our technicians measure airflow, refrigerant pressure, and temperature differentials, then fine-tune settings to achieve maximum SEER and HSPF efficiency while ensuring quiet, steady performance.
Su’Coy installs new refrigerant lines using insulated copper tubing. We pressure test for leaks, evacuate air and moisture with a vacuum pump, and charge the system to manufacturer specifications. This process ensures proper refrigerant flow and efficient heat transfer.
